Vietnam delegation tours charming land of Guizhou

A delegation of Vietnamese travel agencies, media outlets, travel enthusiasts, and Guizhou cultural and tourism promoters embarked on a journey to explore the natural beauty of Southwest China's Guizhou province on Dec 14-16.

Xiaoqikong scenic area in Libo county, known as the "green gem" of the Earth's belt, continues to exude its natural beauty even in the off-season.

"This is my first time in Guizhou, and it's wonderful!" remarked a Vietnamese internet influencer at the Xiaoqikong scenic area. He pledged to promote Guizhou tourism to his family, friends, and fans back in Vietnam through short video platforms like TikTok.

Statistics show that in the first 11 months of this year, Xiaoqikong received over 6 million visits, while Huangguoshu Waterfall received over 5 million visits—an increase of 200.58 percent year-on-year, achieving historical highs for both attractions.

As the largest waterfall in Asia, with abundant water flow, Huangguoshu Waterfall presents a magnificent spectacle. The delegation marveled at the sight and captured the splendor with their smartphones.

Apart from the breathtaking natural landscapes, Guizhou also boasts a profound ethnic culture. At Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village, the delegation was impressed by the ethnic customs, delicious food, and stunning night view.

The visit aims to enable the Vietnamese delegation to understand the characteristics, trends, and potential of the Guizhou tourism market.

This initiative also aims to reinforce the exchange and cooperation between Guizhou and the Vietnamese markets, expand business channels, and enhance the international competitiveness of Guizhou's tourism products.
