Annual plenary of Guizhou Provincial People's Congress concludes in Guiyang

The second plenary of the 14th Guizhou Provincial People's Congress successfully came to a close in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Jan 28.

The attending deputies held a by-election for the members of the Standing Committee of the 14th Guizhou Provincial People's Congress through a secret ballot.

The plenary approved the resolution on the work report of the Guizhou Provincial People's Government and the decision of the Guizhou Provincial People's Congress to amend the "Local Legislation Regulations of Guizhou Province".

It also approved the resolution on Guizhou's executive condition for the 2023 national economic and social development plan as well as the report on Guizhou's 2024 national economic and social development plan.

The resolutions on the work reports of the Standing Committee of the Guizhou Provincial People's Congress, the Guizhou Provincial Higher People's Court, and the Guizhou Provincial People's Procuratorate were also approved at the plenary.
