The finals of the second village soccer super league kicked off in Rongjiang county, Southwest China's Guizhou province, on March 16, drawing over 30,000 spectators from all over the country.

The village soccer super league started after the Spring Festival. After one and a half months of preliminary matches among 62 teams, 20 teams entered the finals, which will run until May 25.

The 20 teams were divided into groups A and B, engaging in round-robin and knockout matches. A total of 98 matches were held.

Forty-three groups of 3,500 people, including soccer teams, cheerleading squads, and performance groups, participated in the parade at the opening ceremony.
