The third "beautiful countryside" basketball competition of Southwest China's Guizhou province kicked off in Taipan village, Qiandongnan Miao and Dong autonomous prefecture, on April 28, just one day after the conclusion of the second season.

The "beautiful countryside" basketball competition has garnered attention nationwide. Spectators from all corners of the country have flocked to Taipan, fueling the fervor for rural sports and enriching the cultural tapestry of the countryside.

Following the opening ceremony, a special match between Kaili No 8 Elementary School and Kaili No 13 Elementary School was held, with Guizhou's only professional basketball club, Guizhou Aofu, showcasing their skills in a 3v3 exhibition match during halftime.

The Guizhou branch of the Agricultural Bank of China will pledge its ongoing support for the "beautiful countryside" basketball competition, providing funding for the training of rural youth, basketball talent, referees, and coaches.

This competition was aimed at nurturing basketball talent and exploring new approaches to rural cultural vitalization through a model combining financial services, sporting events, and rural tourism.

The Guizhou branch will leverage its resources and strengths to better serve rural vitalization and promote the integration of Guizhou's culture, sports and tourism sectors.
